An Integrated View of the Genome In-Person

This workshop will discuss bioinformatic analysis of the human genome through the lens of the ENCODE and ENCORE projects, with hands-on introduction to various databases and tools that can be used for analysis. Examples include NCBI databases and tools, the UCSC Genome Browser, and the Galaxy program. NOTE: This is a beginner to intermediate level workshop. We will not be learning command-line programming during this session, although workflows that can be accomplished using R or Perl programming will be mentioned.
